On 14 November 1993 a westerly flow displaces a low, quickly developped over southern Ireland, over the central part of the Netherlands. In front of the system a southerly wind is decreasing as the low passes, changing in a strong norhwesterly wind in the second part of the day. In the mild event the temperature changes at 1,5 km in the order of 5 degrees. indicating small changes in stability during the event. The changes in the windfield cause a significant wave-event in the southern North Sea.
